The international festival of classical music Days of Music was established in Herceg Novi, then for several years it took place in Sveti Stefan, and since its reestablishment in 2004, it has regularly taken place as an integral part amongst Herceg Novi festivals in the period of 10 – 20 July. Patrons of Days of Music are the Ministry of Culture of Montenegro and the Municipality of Herceg Novi. The artistic director of the festival is Boris Kraljevic, and the head of the Arts Council is Prof. Milena Lucic, who shares the hometown with the acclaimed pianist.

The festival Days of Music has a dynamics which suits a concept of a summer festival which complies with the needs of the audience, following tendencies at world classical festivals and important anniversaries and jubilees. Artists from all continents perform on Herceg Novi stages thus confirming that music is an international language and that Art truly makes the World a better place.
